Michael Hynes and the team at Boiler Room Fitness - Spinning Studio, bring a training and coaching experience and facility to aid Katie in her bid towards her 4 World Records attempts.

Boiler Room Fitness, is a state-of-the-art Spinning Studio in the West End of Glasgow provides all its clients with the platform to train on static NXT Black Belt Spinner Bikes with a range of Instructor and Class styles which will allow a varied training program of strength and endurance.

For Katie, as with any rider, this is an invaluable asset, which brings depth to her training as an Ultra Marathon Time Trial rider, increasing heart strength and building on music to help focus on pedalling cadence during tough efforts. For the World Record attempts, power output is hugely important and Boiler Room Fitness trains this in a cycling environment, which only focuses on muscles required for the riding, making sure excess muscle weight isn't incurred. Crucial to the marginal gains over such long distances.

The Big Partnership was formed in 2000 by a team of three people with the desire to deliver world-class public relations – to be the best, not necessarily the biggest. But their track record of delivering results-based, dynamic public relations campaigns has enabled them to grow into one of the UK’s most successful communications agencies.

They have 105 staff across five offices – in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Fife and Manchester and a 300-strong client list ranging from international and national brands through to Government and public sector bodies, small businesses and charities.

BIG's goal is to implement creative, commercial communications campaigns that reach clients’ target audiences – and produce tangible and measurable results, through dedicated, innovative teams, that are proactive and professional with in-depth expertise across a range of industry sectors.

BIG is also a member of the PRCA, the professional body that represents UK PR consultancies and makes sure it adheres to all of its codes practices.
